We want to send a special Thank You to Doug and Singy Williams. Sunday (5/22/11) they allowed us to purchase 137 bales of hay for $1 a bale. Thank you so much for helping our equines in need and for helping us to off set some of the expense. I also want to Thank all of the Volunteers who went to the Williams farm to load all of the hay. These guys need sponsors

All four of these equines need sponsors. Laredo is a little appy pony… adorable little guy. His former owner passed away and we have promised to take good care of him. Penny is around 30 and she is missing her front teeth. She usually has a green nose from her soaked alfalfa:) We love her! Then there is Griffin, he doesn’t have any of his teeth and he is 40 years old. He is by far the most active senior horse I have ever met. Would you like to sponsor them? Then finally we have Sugar. She will be available for adoption when she has added enough weight and the Vet feels like she is healthy. In the mean time she would love to have a sponsor to help take care of her:)

She was a tiny thing when she came in January 2010. Wow, has she grown. She is only 3 years old and she needs someone experienced who can teach her the ropes:)

He has come a long way:) He is a 9 year old, recently gelded quarter horse. He came to us about six months ago on a cold and rainy december night. His mane was so matted and falling out so we had to cut it. He has been so nice a sweet and very quiet, considering he was a stallion. He was gelded in January and recovered well. By February he had put on some weight, but still needed quiet a bit more. Now…. He looks amazing. He is such a sweet boy and he is looking great!!! Thanks to Carol for being such an amazing barn momma to him:)

Anna Schriebl is amazing and we are so grateful for her contribution:)
I hope you all will take a lesson with Anna. She is so calm and easy with the horse and rider. No matter what your discipline of choose, she can teach you something new. We cannot say enough wonderful things about her and hope you will visit their web page at the bottom of this post to learn more about her.
